Are you an importer bringing in goods from overseas?

Arrange with  your freight forwarder to deliver your container to us and we will:

• Inspect your goods according to Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry guidelines
• Help you avoid unnecessary double handling if your goods are going into storage
• Provide you with secure storage options at reasonable rates to suit your needs
• Complete the quarantine service container log sheet & application for release
• Contact your freight forwarder for the removal of your container

New Zealand is an Island Nation and makes great efforts to protect its borders from pests and diseases. Check out all regulations throughly before bringing items in with you.

Helpful Hints:

Have a clearly labelled manifest (list) of all items Check with MAF & Customs about what items are prohibited/restricted before you consider bringing them into the country as cleaning/disposal/duties may excede their value If goods are in boxes, number boxes to match with items on your list If bringing a vacuum cleaner, ensure dust bag has been disposed of and the vac is thoroughly clean Sports & camping gear must be thoroughly clean and have no dirt or seeds present Show caution when bringing plant based ornaments containing bark or seeds as requirements  for these are very strict to avoid pest/disease Have relevant supporting documentation from accredited authorities available for inspection
